Hi, thanks for checking out TeamRedcatShop.com!
My name is Rob and I have been into R/C since the mid 80's when I saved my money to purchase my first R/C car - a World Engines Rockbuster from the local video rental & hobby store - I know, strange combination for a retail store! For many years after that, all of my babysitting and paper route earnings went toward R/C cars and trucks including several Tamiya buggies, an Associated RC10, Marui Big Bear, Losi JRx2 and many many more.
In 2008, I discovered Redcat Racing and became an authorized Redcat Racing dealer shortly thereafter. I've tried owning and selling several Redcat Racing vehicles since 2008 with various levels of success but I'm probably best known for my work at RampageShop.com where I've specialized in the Redcat Racing 1/5 Scale vehicles and parts since late 2008.
In 2015, Redcat Racing announced a new line of higher quality vehicles called Team Redcat. I started testing the 1/8 scale TR-MT8E when it was first introduced in 2015 and the truck proved itself to be a very robust and well built platform. Since it's inception, the Team Redcat line expanded to include the upgraded TR-MT8E BE6S, TR-MT8E V2 and TR-MT10E 1/10 monster truck and I tested them with equally good results. Team Redcat then added the TR-SC10E 4x4 Short Course truck and that quickly became one of my all time favorite RC vehicles.
A lot has changed since 2015 when I first created TeamRedcatShop.com - the BE6S and TR-SC10E are no longer available, Redcat has improved the quality of the newest vehicles dramatically and scale trucks have become the most popular class in RC. With these changes, I now offer a selection of the newest Redcat vehicles including like the Gen7 and Gen8 trail trucks, the super popular Everest-10 crawler, along with the new Wendigo and Kaiju trucks.
I have also expanded the site to include parts and upgrades for the Redcat vehicles that I sell and some of the older models as well such as the Volcano and Blackout.
I'll continue to test and blog about my experiences with my Team Redcat and Redcat Racing vehicle and as new ones come out, I'll let you know how all about them.
Thanks for your support, I really appreciate it
Rob
