The Redcat Racing line of R/C vehicles has been around since 2005. Redcat Racing has traditionally been a value priced / entry level brand with varying degrees of quality. Over the past few years, Redcat has worked hard to improve the quality of their vehicles and in 2015 launched the higher end line called Team Redcat. The TR-MT10E is the first 1/10 scale truck in the high quality Team Redcat line. Here's a closer look at it... The TR-MT10E comes fully assembled and almost ready to run in your choice of orange or grey. All you have to do is add 4 AA batteries to the transmitter and your choice of 2s or 3s LiPo battery as these are not included. The body is pre-trimmed and the stickers are already applied. We think these bodies look great. The bed sides have a Ford Raptor style and the front fenders/grill remind us of an early Dodge Ram. The body is held in place by four traditional style body clips, two in the bed and two on the hood. The included K-Factory tires are a nice, soft compound. They feel sticky and perform well on grass and dirt. On the road, they grip very well and care needs to be taken so you don't traction roll the truck. We especially like the attention to detail like the TR-MT10E stickers on the wheel. The included wheelie bar is fully adjustable. When running on 2s, it isn't really required but on 3s you'll probably want to lower the wheel a little closer to the ground if you don't want to do back flips. The wheelie bar mount is very strong and also serves as a rear bumper that protects the body and rear suspension from bad landings off of jumps. The pivot ball style front and rear suspension is fully adjustable. You can easily tune the camber, caster and toe to suite your needs. The suspension arms are thick and durable and if you'd like, aluminum arms are available as optional hop-ups. The included wheel hexes are 14mm with 12mm available as an option if you'd like to add 12mm wheels designed for vehicles such as the Traxxas Stampede The included shocks are oil filled, large diameter, plastic body with plastic caps. They are not threaded but multiple spacers are included so you can tune them to match your driving style and conditions. Lurking within the bumper are three ultra bright LED lights and two red corner marker LED lights. These look great in the day time and help extend your bashing session into the night The battery tray is accessed from under the body and includes fully adjustable velcro straps to secure your 2s or 3s LiPo. It is designed to hold the battery on it's side and there is plenty of room for verious sizes of packs. The ESC is a Hobbywing 80amp unit. It is listed as being waterproof but we don't recommend fully submerging your TR-MT10E in water. Running in rain, snow, mud and puddles won't be a problem at all though. The ESC is also protected by a cool looking red fan shroud. A Deans style plug is pre-installed on the ESC A Thor BL3655 4400KV brushless motor is included and provides a good amount of power for this light weight truck. There's also a Savox 15kg, waterproof, metal gear steering servo and metal spur and pinion gears (Mod 1.0) The 2.4Ghz receiver is mounted inside a waterproof case. Team Redcat has done a great job of designing the TR-MT10E. The truck is proving to be very durable and would be a great vehicle for anyone that's considering a 1/10 Scale, 4x4 Monster Truck.

It will fit up to a 3660 can. Many are putting the 4000k hobbywing motor with a 120a esc. I am in the process of putting a 3660 3800kv motor in
